Gem Alpacas I am based on the Isle of Wight and have alpaca fleece for sale
across our local area. I have been working with alpacas for more than 20 years
and have fallen in love with them. It was this love for the animals that led me
to invest in my own herd. They have been with me since 2012 and I now have 13
female and 7 male alpacas.

About Me and the Herd After buying 7 females in 2012, I have been able to develop
the business. The herd has since expanded and I am adding more each year. Alongside
this, they are registered with the British
Alpaca Society for your complete peace of mind. This means that all of the
fleece in is British grown.
I have also received recognition for the herd from a number
of shows including:
South of England Show British Alpaca Futurity Show The Romsey Show British Alpaca Society National Show
Why Use Alpaca Fleece? Whether you realise it or not, this material can be ideal
for a number of products. I am able to provide rolags, batts and roving to fit
whatever you need. This allows you to spin, weave or felt the fleece, creating
unique and bespoke items.
The alpaca rolags are extremely popular and I provide a very
quick turnaround. Because of this, I make them to order and ensure that all
fleece is prepared and fully washed. There are a variety of different colours available

grey, and bay black.
